"THE WALL"

What The Wall Means

We want to be clear about what The Wall represents:


  • Targeted: If you currently hold a seat in the Rhode Island House or Senate and your district is listed, The League of RI Businesses (LORIB) is actively working to replace you.
     
  • Vacant Seats: If a House or Senate seat becomes vacant, it will be added to The Wall while LORIB works to recruit a qualified candidate.
     
  • Challengers: When LORIB identifies a strong candidate and they announce their campaign, their name will be added to The Wall and marked as Endorsed — either for a Primary, an Open Seat, or a General Election.
     

LORIB monitors all districts in RI. Whenever new leadership is needed The League will get involved — if The League is confident the seat can be won — that district will be placed on The Wall and The League will work to win it.
